Ok, my last tree picture got me in trouble with Merry because there wasn't a tree skirt or any presents under the tree yet. Oops!

So here is version 2... this time complete with presents!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and will have a safe, happy new year! 

We finally have our tree up! There's something about Christmas trees that just make me so giddy and happy. I was just happy so I thought I'd share our awesome tree that Merry picked. She also picked all the nice decorations for it too. The dancing lights are a nice touch too.



If it were up to me, it would be a severely colourful and goofy looking tree. So instead we agreed on a Dr. Seuss-ish theme. Still nice, but still has that touch of Dr. Seuss red/white stripes and lines all over.



And while we're talking about trees, Sally and Jared have a nice setup too, which we got to see when we visited a couple days ago:

Heather and Dave get married!

Yesterday was an absolute blast. Heather and Dave got married, and what a fun bunch they were. She was funny and level-headed all day, amidst a near-disaster at the salon, and he was an all out joker.



Formals were done before the ceremony at the Muttart Conservatory. Good choice as it was -15 outside with snow everywhere! Here Dave is caught threatening to strangle his brother/Best Man Tony and toss his over the wall into the waterfall. Hahahaha





Poker was the theme of the night as Dave is a professional poker player and can often be seen kicking some butt on televised poker tournaments. Many of the guests were also from his "poker family" so it was quite fitting!



The ceremony was at Shalom Park and was beautiful! The couple left the ceremony in a cloud of bubbles. (Which really stung if it one popped into your eye, as Merry soon discovered... LOL)





Great food and great times! So thank you, Dave and Heather. We had so much fun and look forward to talking to you again! It was a pleasure to work with you, Holly, and Tony for the day!
