Maternity with Red and Josh!

Red and Josh contacted us for a lifestyle shoot which involved both maternity and some family photos. They were expecting a little one soon, and before I wrote this, she has already been brought into this world! Congratulations guys!

The weather turned on the day we planned to shoot. The temperature suddenly dropped and our original plan for outdoor maternity pics got canceled. A bit too cold to bare one's bare belly! So we shot some pics inside their baby room at their home. It was a pretty small space due to all the furniture and crib but we managed! =)

We still decided to go outside for a few shots, since we got the bare belly photos done.



Good looking family! I had to make a lot of weird noises to make Raylyn look at the camera.

Raylyn chased the seagulls and was in awe when the all flew away.



It was great to see you guys again, and congratulations on your second! You were great sports to find a way to proceed with the shoot despite the weather. Looking forward to seeing your pics of your newest addition!

A rural touch with Char and Trevor!

We had the fortune of meeting up with Charlene and Trevor one misty morning. It was pretty wet out but they said it wasn't nearly enough to scare them off. Haha, my kind of models! =)

I'm glad they didn't cancel because we sure had a lot of fun that morning! The rural look was more akin to their tastes, which I was *very* happy to go along with!

I love the texture of the fence!



Nothing like a good ol' wooden red barn. So many nowadays are metal and unpainted. What gives? ;)





It's hard to go wrong with vibrant colours!

Kayla and Aaron BLING it out!

The beginning of October got a little bit cold, but still was a beautiful day for a wedding! Nothing was going to stop Kayla from having the most amazing wedding she could possibly have. And she was successful!

She really pulled out all the stops, and all the details were absolutely beautiful!

Haha, all the girls had their respective custom hoodies. It was cute!



The shoes were something to die for. Valentinos. 'nuff said.

The ceremony was at the beautiful St. Joseph's Basilica.

They stopped for a kiss in the middle of the recessional!



Then off to the Mackay Avenue school.





The guys were a bunch of goofs... as to be expected! (And how I prefer it)





Then we went to the Matrix Hotel where the reception was held. It was a little bit too cold for more outdoor photos so we went inside for some.

A gust just suddenly came through and caught me off guard... you need to watch the slideshow for the full effect.



Then we went outside for more outdoor shots with just Kayla and Aaron.







I love autumn!



Skies were looking a little unfriendly, and gave us a touch of rain.



The theme of the wedding was: BLING!
The purple cards were the place cards, and each card had it's own holder full of shiny stones.



And blinged out it was!





This cake was AMAZING! I knew it would BLOW me away, as Kayla told me they hired Deliciously Different Cakes out of St. Albert. I wasn't surprised as Kayla settles for nothing but the best, and they are.



The drinks were chilled by being poured through the ice sculpture!



Ok, there was a lot of forced man kisses in this reception... LOL

The speeches, slideshow, games and program were all great!



And a wonderful first dance.



Well, you guys told us it would be an awesome wedding, and suffice to say, it certainly was. We are happy and honoured to have been chosen to be a part of it! Thanks guys, we had a LOT of fun! Wishing you the very best!
