-28C with Gina and Chris!

Gina and Chris decided a late December wedding would be awesome, and it was! It's hard to complain about going to the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald.

The hotel was decked out with beautiful Christmas decorations.

























Man, I love it when couples are totally willing to get out into the cold! And it sure was COLD!



It was soon before the sun set on the MacDonald's garden.

In style with Kristine and Josh

Kristine and Josh planned a wedding during a risky time of year... mid November. It was pretty cold that day but it was the wind that was brutal. Kristine and Josh were total troopers though and were adamant to brave the cold for outdoor photos. Awesome!

It's amazing how low the sun is this time of year. I like it, makes it a lot easier to photograph!



They wouldn't be east Asian without at least one of these poses.









We then went to the gorgeous Oasis Conference and Banquet Centre. It's a pretty new place and I'm THRILLED that we get another high end venue in Edmonton.

I loved the cake. Asian fruit cocktail. Awesome. Yummy. Period.



Hahaha, Kristine and Josh pulled a fast one on everyone and switched toss roles. LOL





The desserts were killer!



And if they weren't frozen enough from the earlier photoshoot, they were totally game to go outside late at night for another shoot. It was fun!





Awesome day. What can I say. Thanks for bearing the cold and having a blast in the meantime! It was so fun! Keep in touch!

Erin, Jorge, and... a lot of wind

We got together with Erin and Jorge one day for an fun e-shoot. Boy was it ever windy that day! Despite that we still managed to have fun and enjoy the awesome Edmonton fall weather we enjoyed this year.

Maddy and Josh round two!

If you thought planning one wedding was tough, how about planning and carrying out TWO weddings, in two totally different countries, two completely different sets of vendors, and only spaced 10 days apart? Well, somehow Maddy and Josh managed to plan it all and carry it through in great spirits. Night and Day were flattered to be their chosen photographer for the Canadian version of their wedding. =)

Josh and the gang picked up some brand new Converse sneakers for the wedding. I love it!

The whole wedding party was an absolute hoot. They wanted a smoking picture (even though most of them don't even smoke LOL)



There seemed to be a lot of kicking involved that day. Apparently, Josh's friendship with two of his groomsmen were founded on kicking one of them in the head many years ago. (No joke)

The weather that day was crazy! Sunny and mild, then suddenly brutally cold and fierce winds, then followed by sudden darkness and rain.







You can't tell ('cause Maddy and Josh are so awesome) but they're totally getting rained on in this pic.



As expected, tons of laughs at the reception.



I love how Maddy shoved cake up Josh's nose with such a matter-of-fact expression. She didn't even have to look. Hahahaha



First Dance




So anyhow, thanks for a great time. You guys were such great sports despite the bitter cold winds and weather, the exhaustion of doing the whole wedding thing the previous week, yet we still managed to have an absolute hoot all day.
