Going Ukrainian style with Anna and Jonathan!

I knew we would have a lot of fun at this wedding, as it was a fantastic blend of tradition and celebration. That and it actually wasn't sub zero, which is rare in Edmonton this time of year.

So we caught up with the girls:

Anna looking all beautiful and waiting to proceed to the ceremony:

Jonathan and Anna look so happy and can't wait for the ceremony to start!

Respecting tradition. I love it.

Anna looking all pretty again. She's good at that.

She's also really good at making the most animated facial expressions. hahaha. I could probably fill an entire blog post just on her vast array of expressions.

The cute couple!

Thank goodness it wasn't -10.

Anna's mom and aunt made the cake, including these sugar flowers too! wow!

Enjoying the reception

First dance was amazing. Ballroom dance skills galore! (It was brutal trying to keep up with them!)

Then on to a truly fantastic Ukrainian dance performance! whoa!

Again, Anna showing her expressive talents after shoving some cake into Jonathan's face. haha what a hoot!

Anna and Jonathan, we thank you for the great fun we had with you guys. I really enjoyed all the traditional elements and the modern day fun you guys managed to pull together into an amazing wedding! We really had a great time! Keep in touch!

Lloyd & Merry - THANK YOU!! They look amazing and we can't wait to get all of the proofs. We had a blast that day and I'm glad you were a part of it.

And for the record, I didn't technically shove cake at Jon...it is quite difficult feeding and being fed cake at the same time! :) It could have been done more elegantly, but oh well!

Thanks again.

haha, hey Anna. Ok, maybe you didn't shove cake in his face but the result was equally entertaining! Glad you like the photos!
