Eid ul-Adha at the Alberta Legislature!

Yesterday was the Annual "Eid at the Legislature", in commemoration of the festival of Eid ul-Adha. This is put on by the Ismaili Muslim Community, the Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities, and the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. We were privileged to be there in an official sense, shooting for the Muslim communities.

This is a very impressive event in that the Government of Alberta is the ONLY government in the entire western world that acknowledges and honours the Eid.

Anyhow, onto the pictures.

Many of our wedding clients have shot at the Legislature, but have never actually been inside. Well, here it is from the inside:

Presenting an $8000 cheque to the Executive Director of the Edmonton Food Bank. All funds raised by the Ismaili Muslim youth. Amazing work!

All in all, an honour to be a part of such a significant event.
